~Weather in California~
California is full of wonderful beaches, gorgeous buildings, and stunning bridges. Most people when they think of California, they think it is always warm and sunny. The weather in California is generally mild. Temperature in California is usually consistent and the change in temperature is gradual. December through February temperatures range in the mid forties and the low thirties. March through May, with each month the temperatures warms up. March the high is 54, but by May the high is at a comfortable temperature of 74. June, July, August, and September are the warmest months, but even then the heat isn’t unbearable. July is the warmest month with a high of 85 and a low of 70. October through November the weather turns cooler again, yet the change isn’t enough to have any thoughts of frost, let alone snow. Some people when they begin packing for their vacation to California, they just pack shorts and t-shirts. Mornings and evenings in California can get really cool, even in the summer. The closer you are to the ocean, usually the cooler the nights and mornings are. No matter when you plan on visiting CA, remember to pack clothing for the weather. Even in the summer, it isn’t a bad idea to bring a few pairs of jeans and a sweatshirt or two. Taking some tennis shoes and an umbrella won’t hurt you either. Plus they won't take up much more space in your suitcase. Mornings can be extremely foggy, so don’t be surprised if you wake up and look out your hotel window and see a blanket of fog. So, taking some extra time to see what the weather has been like and planning according to the weather patterns is better than showing up and being unprepared. Planning ahead before you start packing can really make your vacation more enjoyable and less stressful. Remember, you are paying for this vacation and they don't come around as often as we wish, so you should get the most out of it.
