If you are going anywhere in Arizona, be sure to take sunscreen! If you’ve never been to Arizona I will just give you a heads up… It’s usually sunny and hot. If you are planning on going and seeing the Grand Canyon or just laying by the pool at your hotel, make sure you have plenty of sunscreen. Children are especially susceptible to sunburn, because have fair skin and love being outside. When the family is out and about hiking or swimming, be sure that everyone has sunscreen on. Most sunscreens work best when applied 15-20 minutes before going outside. Wearing a brimmed hat or loose fitted clothing help to cool you down and help block the sun’s rays. Don’t be one of those people, who goes on vacation looking like Snow White and comes back looking like Mr. Krabs from Sponge Bob Square Pants. It would really stink to go on vacation and have to spend most of your time all hot and uncomfortable just because you didn’t wear sunscreen. Not only is it uncomfortable being sun burnt, it’s also bad for your health. Having a tan may be nice for a while, but when people burn then it eventually turns into a tan they can have some serious consequences. One too many sunburns can result in wrinkles, premature aging, and possibly some type of skin cancer. Being tan now isn’t worth having a bunch of wrinkles and moles later in life. Sunscreen is like brushing your teeth, sometimes it doesn’t seem worth spending two minutes of your life doing it, but if you don’t then no one will want to kiss you. The same is with not applying sunscreen. Who really wants to kiss a face full of moles and wrinkles? That would have to be some seriously blind love right there, so just save yourself now and use sunscreen. Applying sunscreen with a spf of 15 will protect from the most of the harmful UV rays from the sun and most people still get a tan while using spf 15. So if you really want a tan, u still can get one you just have to be careful that you do it properly, otherwise there can be some serious consequences later down the road. Most importantly, you should enjoy your vacation, don’t let the sun ruin your fun.
