Palm Springs
California is a wonderful place to vacation! My family has taken several trips there and I cannot remember a time when I didn’t have fun. My most recent trip was a “mother daughter” spring break in Palm Springs. It was the perfect get away for us because we were able to have days full of poolside activities, shopping, dinner, and pampering, of course! We stayed at the JW Marriott…it was spectacular. Whether you are best friends, sisters, family, or spouses, this hotel won’t let you down! There is a massive pool in the back surrounded by a gorgeous pond, beautiful landscaping, and a bar. Not only was the scenery pretty, but the weather couldn’t have been better! California is not somewhere where you have to worry about having rainy days that will leave you with nothing to do. We were there 7 days in March and didn’t see rain once. Another one of my favorite qualities in the JW is their restaurant. They literally have a small boat that runs into the hotel to pick people up and take them to their different dining places connected to the hotel. For some of them you can walk, but with at least 2 restaurants you have to take the boat. Not only was the ride there good, but the food itself is amazing. They have everything from Italian to steak and seafood. Besides the weather being great, the shopping and restaurants also made the trip worth- while. We went to a mini “Rodeo Drive” in Palm Springs. The shopping was very up scale but really fun to walk around. We walked through shops that ranged from fancy dresses to home furniture. Although it was upscale, you can find things on sale. I actually found my prom dress in one of the shops! It was a really fun experience overall and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

You made this hotel and area seem really nice! I've never been to California, which I'm very mad about, but when I go I will definitely look into that hotel! And that picture is amazing!
