Back to Arizona!
I’m sorry to go off topic… but over the weekend I thought it was a must. Right now I am in beautiful Arizona and I figured I would give you some insight on the things I’ve been doing here!
We flew into the Phoenix Airport and it was so clean and easy to get through. If you have an option of where to fly into, I’d really suggest the Phoenix Airport. The car rental building is a bit of a ride but there are busses that take you there. The inside of it is very nice and easy to maneuver through as well.
We are staying at Copperwynd Resort and Club, which is located in Fountain Hills, AZ. Fountain Hills is right next to Scottsdale and Phoenix. Copperwynd has mostly villas that people own, but attached to the club are at least a dozen or two rooms available. I have never stayed in the hotel rooms, because we own a villa, but I have heard they are very nice. There is also a fabulous “4 star restaurant” located in the club, which is called the Alchemy. This restaurant is very nice for a romantic dinner. It is not recommended for small children, although they are allowed in. The atmosphere is very quiet and romantic with a view from the top of a mountain into the city of Phoenix- it is gorgeous!
Last night we went to Flemming’s Steakhouse and Wine Bar. It was absolutely delicious but a bit pricy. They have a huge winery inside the restaurant and offer over 100 wines. Aside from their wide array of wine, they offer steak that is out of this world. Every steak that was served to our table was done to perfection. If you’re looking for a nice, upscale steak, or a glass of great wine, this is the place to go!
