What relates to you?

Lets just start by admitting that Australia is HUGE. Sometimes there's the issue that you don't find anything to do where ever your at, other times you may find yourself having a hard time deciding what to do when you have so many possibilities to choose from like in Australia. Most of the people just tend to go to Sydney and Melbourne to visit the famous Opera House and swim the Great Barrier Reef. I don't blame them, its what they "know" about Australia. So instead of giving you the ordinary touring spots, I'm going to make this experience a bit more unforgettable.

When I travel with a group of people be it my family or friends the first thing you realize is that everyone wants to do something different. So I'm going to list for you the best places that I believed were worth visiting and what activities you can do at each place.

If you like to ski: Go to Canberra, Australia. Here you will find the Snowy
Valley Resort in Jindywhich offers a skiing package of 3 or 6 days. Its called
the Midweek Madness Snow Adventure, so the name can already give you
a hint to how intense the experience will be. There is everything from
snowboarding to skiing, all types of slopes are found so that everyone from
beginners level to the pros can manage to have an awesome time while
"surfing" the white powder. The resort offers plenty of accommodations
and even offers and official party night at the resorts nightclub every
Wednesday night. How can you manage to get there? A coach bus brings
you to the slopes and you return to Cranberra at 4:15 PM either on the 3rd
or 6th day depending on the package you chose. Prices range from $190.52
for the 3 days to $350.96 for the 6 days. Similar packages are also found at
the slopes of Melbourne and Sydney.

If you enjoy the wildlife: There is everything from the 'roos, to the koalas, the famous
crocs and the breathtaking tails of the whales when they dive
deep in the ocean floors; you can find anything you seek a
picture of be it at zoos, safaris and touring cruises. At the
Australia Zoo, which is the home of famous Steve Irwin located in
Brisbane, Australia, you will see up to 1000 animals, but I write
about the zoo for those croc lovers. If your lucky you'll spot the
head of an estuarine "saltwater" croc just peeping out of the
wetlands. Also there is the Hartley's Crocodile Adventures for
those who don't feel intimated at being surrounded by a bunch of
long tailed and big mouthed reptiles. The Sydney Eco Whale Watching is a cruise toured
offered to those who want to spot the big blue whales when they come out in order to take a
breath of fresh air. Its a great tour because you enjoy both the famous beautiful ocean scenery
of Australia and the once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of the most incredible oceanic
wonders. Generally all of the tours and zoos cost an average of $30 to $40.

If you like the theme parks: Are you on vacation with you children? Want to take them to
a theme park where they will burn all their energy so they pass out early
and you can have an enjoyable evening? There are two really big theme
parks in the Gold Coast. You will find the Dreamworld Theme Park and the
WhiteWater World Theme Park. Dreamworld is focused more on like
electronics like the IMax Theatre, Nickelodeon Central, and the TV reality
show BigBrother. WhiteWater is famous for having all four of the
"worlds best" water slides. Again there are all sorts of passes for both
theme parks. You can get "Skip the Line Passes" starting at $32.76 and you
can also get 2 day passes for both theme parks for a total of $68.19.
Personally I love all these things where you find crazy rides so I believe the
package to be a great deal, just imagine that for that price you are going to
some of the coolest theme parks in the world!

If you like a sip of wine: I know about this because my dad is a lover of wine. He's traveled
countless times to countries in order to taste
right out of the vineyard some of his favorite
wines. Adelaide and Melbourne are the two
places where you want to go if you are interested
in having some wine and learning about its
history. There are a number of vineyards found at
both locations. Yarra Valley Wineoffers a full day
tour giving you plenty to see the regions top
three wineries: Yering Station, Rochford Winery,
and Domaine Chandon. If two days is not enough
then go to Margaret River which offers two days
of pure wine tasting. Hmmm, just imagine that
aroma and distinct flavor and warmth of wine
going down your throat.

With these options my family and I would have plenty to do. And not only that but we would all be
content because we all got to do something that we wanted to do. A happy family going on vacay
and a happy family coming back :)
